Standard payment terms

C & W Berry DO NOT set payment terms, payment terms are set by the supplier which we then adopt and adhere to. The most common settlement terms offered to us by suppliers are 'Net Monthly' i.e. end of month following month of invoice , however, where early settlement discount is offered the earlier settlement date is always adopted in exchange for the discount on offer.

Were there any changes to the standard payment terms in the reporting period?

No

Were suppliers notified or consulted about these changes before they were made?

N/A

Maximum contractual payment period agreed

60 days

Contractual settlement terms are not agreed on an invoice by invoice basis but on an overall account basis. Most common terms offered by suppliers are monthly (due at the end of the month following the month of invoice) which means an invoice will be anywhere between 30 days and 60 days old (therefore 45 on average) when it is paid depending on what date during the month the invoice was raised.

Dispute resolution process

Disputes over invoicing/pricing errors are usually settled between the supplier's sales department and the C & W Berry Ltd buyer who places orders for the product group in question. All efforts are made to resolve queries as expeditiously as possible.
