Dispute resolution process
Invoices are registered on the Purchase Ledger and matched to purchase orders. Once matched they move forward for payment. Unmatched invoices remain unauthorised until approved by relevant delegated authority. Supplier statements are reconciled monthly to identify any invoices that may not have been registered on the purchase ledger. Monthly, unauthorised invoices are reviewed and relevant delegate is informed. Suppliers routinely contact purchase ledger about unpaid invoices and queries are directed to the relevant delegate.
