The below two factors need to be taken into account when interpretating the statistics in this report:
1. Most payments are processed through BACS transfers twice a week rather than daily. A large number of payments in the statistics of this report are presented as not paid within the agreed terms for that reason; where this is the case payments will normally be received by the supplier within a few days of the due date.
2. Payment statistics presented in this report include payments made to other Eni group companies. The payment pattern and resolution of disputed invoices can be different for third party and intercompany suppliers.
Dispute resolution process
The Company will contact the supplier in case of any material discrepancies with the agreed terms on an invoice or in relation to other disputed matters. The supplier and the Company will endeavour to resolve any dispute in accordance with the terms of the relevant contract.
