Any other information about payment terms

For some suppliers there are many invoices throughout the month and to prevent payments being made on every day of the month the invoices are bundled for a payment to be made on at least two dates per month spread evenly across the month. This may mean some invoices are paid earlier than the contractual date and some invoices paid later than the contractual date.

Dispute resolution process

If there is a dispute about an invoice then either our Accounts Payable staff or the contract originator will contact the supplier for an explanation and then if applicable the supplier will raise a credit note or provide another method of resolution so that the invoice can be paid. The most common reason for a delay in payment is when an invoice has not been received by the supplier. Once we know this and have received the invoice it will be paid by being included in the next payment run.
