Standard payment terms
The Company aims to contract individually with each of its suppliers agreeing specific payments terms for each contract. We then work proactively with our suppliers to ensure that we receive timely submission of invoices with relevant purchase order information to allow straight through processing and settlement within the agreed term. Where no agreement exists the Company makes payments on 60 day terms. As indicated above, a small proportion of invoices due are not paid within agreed terms. This is due to:
• invoices being received from suppliers late;
• time taken to validate that the goods or services concerned have been received or supplied; or
• resolution of disputes over the quality or quantity of goods or services supplied.
Were there any changes to the standard payment terms in the reporting period?
