During this period the company transitioned to a new ERP system.
This impacted on the normal approval processes for a number of invoices and therefore the proportion of invoices paid outside of the agreed period.
The revised system has since been embedded, processes updated and actions are being taken to further develop our payment processes.
Dispute resolution process
Disputes are dealt with by the Accounts Payable function within the Company.
Invoices are flagged for dispute with the vendor at the time of invoice entry if there are discrepancies with the expected value/purchase order.
In all dispute cases, an appropriate accounts payable assistant will respond to the query. Invoices in query are tracked and logged, and monitored in weekly updates with the Financial Controller, and in a monthly review with the Finance Director. Final approval is provided by the Company’s shareholder.
