On our invoice processing platform Coupa, we will notify both the vendor owner and vendor themselves that there is a particular issue with the invoice. Until that issue is rectified internally from our vendor owner or by the vendor, we will leave the invoice in a disputed status. There is negative bonus implications on vendor owners after a certain period of time and they are notified daily of the invoice status.
