Dispute resolution process

A dispute on payment would arise if the purchased item did not meet the standards required, arrived damaged or was not fit for purpose. The requisitioner would attempt to resolve the dispute with the supplier and may withhold some / all of the payment due – the supplier would be informed by phone. The requisitioner would report any unresolved dispute and the reason to their line manager in the first instance who would, in turn, make a recommendation to the Finance Director.

Decisions on withholding payments are made by the Finance Director.
