We use the JCT (Joint Contracts Tribunal) standard form of contract to administer our office fit out construction projects which include retention clauses at standard levels and timings; maximum of 5% retention held with 2.5% released at Practical Completion and 2.5% released at time of completion of the 12 month defect period.
